pilates mat: Pilates group mat classes concentrate on the core for strength, stability, and range of motion. Everyone without prior Pilates experience should begin at Level 1. Mat 2 focuses on detail and proper form of the Pilates principles. Novices and experts alike can get a workout from this class. Mat 2/3 transitions into the more advanced exercises concentrating on flow and rhythm. Level 3 is a faster paced class for the advanced student with a strong knowledge of the mat exercises.
tower class: This class is the ultimate workout, designed to challenge the powerhouse with the use of springs and the bars. Students must be at Level 3 or higher to take this class, as well as have an instructor's approval.
trapeze: Trapeze is a form of gymnastics, therefore students should be healthy and coordinated. This class is for students with a strong upper body, keen awareness of core engagement and a sense of adventure! Basic level class will focus on the beginning stages of strength training and form. Intermediate class will take these skills and expand them into more complex combinations including bar standing sequences. Advanced sign up required.
stretch class: Stretch class is designed for Pilates students with Mat 2 experience or higher. This class focuses on stretching and strengthening using exercises based on Pilates concepts and the use of the theraband.
GYROKINESIS® class: This class will add a multi-dimensional component to your workout as you take your body through its full range of motion with an emphasis on building strength, injury resistance, longer muscle tone and endurance. Combining seated, standing and floor work, the movements balance and open the musculature while freeing the joints. Come and rejuvenate your body with strength from the inside out!
